鈥淭he River Valley is gifted with a strong veteran community that plays a vital role in the region鈥檚 growth and the opportunities for us all,鈥 said Bill Sabo, regional director of the ASBTDC. 鈥淲hether a veteran wants to start his or her own business or expand an existing one, this program will give them the insights they need to be successful in this region and a roadmap toward success.鈥

Reboot participants are introduced to the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to launch a business, from developing a concept to creating a business plan. Information is also provided on helpful SBA resources, and participants who complete the course can elect to further their study through further Boots to Business courses offered online at no cost.

Sabo will join Myron L. Pullum, outreach coordinator for the University of Texas at Arlington Veterans Business Outreach Center, and Herb Lawrence, veterans business development officer for the Arkansas District Office of the SBA, as trainers for this session.

鈥淚'm glad to host this program,鈥 Sabo said. 鈥淲hether because of their military training and discipline or their drive toward excellence, some of the most successful and driven entrepreneurs I work with are veterans.鈥
