A lieutenant with the Fort Smith Police Department spoke to students in the College of Business at the University of Arkansas 鈥� Fort Smith about the current challenges of leadership during a talk Nov. 13 on campus.
Lt. Thomas 鈥淲es鈥� Milam with the FSPD spoke to business students as part of the college鈥檚 Distinguished Speaker Series, which focuses on contemporary issues in the workplace that will face students as they graduate and enter the workforce.
Milam spoke of the challenges of managing an increasingly diverse workforce, best practices in leadership, and what today鈥檚 leaders face in the workplace.
